I’m glad you asked. Here’s the update. EVERYTHING IS DONE!!! Well, most everything that will be done is almost done. More on that later. Here is where we now…stand (lol, sorry).

Just over a month ago a kind of a big deal publisher agreed to look at my book. It turns out I had a connection to them that I did not know about until then. The President of the company was impressed that I had hired Christian Editing and Design and that being an unknown was in no way a hinderance to them picking me up. He also said, that if they didn’t sign me that he would gladly sit with me and help me moving forward. When I sent them my transcript they asked me to give them a month or so to review it. On the one hand, they haven’t told me no yet. On the other hand, I haven’t heard yes…or anything for that matter. I’m going with the “no news is good news” mantra.

If they don’t make me an offer we are very close! All work on my end is done and just about everything is completed on CED’s end. We will do some advance marketing things with Amazon and then we’ll have a release date set! What I’m saying is, unless I receive a miracle offer, the book should be out within a month!

I mentioned some “other” things that needed to be done. I continue to work on the e-leaders guide. It has kept me busy as the work load on my end has diminished. However, I’m quite sure it won’t be ready in time for the book release. As it is, I’m excited as to how the leaders guide can help people use the book to really help others.

We will certainly be doing a lot of marketing and promotion for the launch. We really want to get it into the hands of as many people as possible. Stay tuned for how you can really have an impact in that process. Imagine families hearing the worst news of their lives being blessed by you. Further, imagine churches, schools, community groups and others being equipped to come alongside these families! We are very close.

Lastly, we will be recording an audio book as well. Christian Editing and Design has HIGHLY encouraged me to be the one recording that. I suppose that makes sense. I have to believe that will be an emotional journey as well.
