It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a list. It cracks me up how many people love these lists. So, here you go!
- The amount of food in my fridge on Monday’s compared to Friday is hilarious.
- I cook a lot on weekends.
- I’m in a burger slump. Salt, pepper, garlic and grill. I need something new.
- I think it’s a good goal to never appear on Dr. Phil.
- Joe is 16 and Bella is 14. What in the blue hell happened?
- I feel like there’s a ten year warp period when life flies by.
- I will hate the first time the phone rings once Joe starts driving.
- I’m relieved that Bella won’t go on a date until she’s 25.
- I love to encourage people.
- I love when I’m at a musical and someone is really surprised and blessed by my words of appreciation for their performance.
- I am always floored at what make up and costumes do to change the look of a high school student.
- Don’t get me wrong, if I don’t know someone in a musical I have little to no interest…or negative interest.
- I would rather encourage an employee at Giant Eagle more than sitting at a musical for 2 1/2 hours.
- I would like to golf more this year.
- Bella has a great natural swing but is tremendously afraid to hit the ground.
- This will be a problem.
- I have recently watched (over 2 months) every episode of Bar Rescue.
- I’m now watching a lot of Cops.
- The Blacklist is still a great show.
- James Spader is amazing (in all things, especially The Office and The Blacklist).
- Joe and I invented a game called “houseball” which is a version of home run derby.
- We have played for hours. Memories are being made.
- I rule at houseball.
- I love when the estimate on getting your car fixed is half of the number you have in your head.
- This has happened to me twice in the past 6 months.
- My last sermon was on hearing from God…literally.
- Vacation is a great thing.
- Starting with our Make A Wish trip we established a tradition (and expectation) of summer vacations.
- I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
- I think it’s a healing thing to be on a vacation, talking about old vacations with Trey.
- We rode wave runners this year.
- Ask Rachel if she liked it.
- Joe and I loved it and went fast…real fast.
- Being that he is a cool 16 year old he didn’t hold on to me.
- He said, “Whoopsie daysie” 6 times as he almost fell off the back.
- Cool 16 year old don’t say “Whoopsie daysie.”
- Joe does.
- Scallops are good food.
- Good mussels are good food, bad ones are not.
- I rode a roller coaster at the boardwalk called the GaleForce.
- It’s most always closed.
- It was not this year and it blew my mind!!! Best coaster ever???
- Hillsong’s version of “So Will I” is pretty good, and by that I mean amazing.
- I helped Bella make meat sauce today. It was great, both the sauce and the experience.
- Our Wifi was out for several days…the kids survived.
- Rachel’s birthday is coming up on July 3rd. She will be 29 again.
- Our 20th anniversary will be on July 24th.
- I would marry her all over again and again and again.
