ABOUT JAY MITLO

Jay Mitlo is a pastor at Faith Community Church in Penn Hills, PA, with over 20 years of ministry experience. His approach to teaching and counseling was transformed by training with the Center for Relational Care, focusing on emotional and relational needs. In 2010, Jay’s youngest son, Trey, was diagnosed with cancer and became known as the “Young Warrior” for his joyful spirit. Trey passed away in 2014. Jay continues to honor Trey’s memory while raising his two other children, Joe and Bella, with his wife, Rachel, and remains active in his community, coaching volleyball and announcing for Penn Hills sports.
